This will go a long ways towards creating a better housing situation overall...I'm very hopeful that the City Council sees it the same way.

Love to see it! The only way we’re going to make a dent in the affordability crisis in our city is to build more housing. It’s simple supply and demand. Home in Tacoma will remove many of the administrative hurdles that currently exist to building anything but single family homes. This will give people the freedom to build more and varied types of missing middle housing so that young families can actually afford to stay here. If this goes through, my friends and I are already talking about going in on a lot to put 4 townhomes on. This way, we can all stay here and raise our families together for much cheaper than if we all had to buy single family homes, which is currently out of reach for many of us.

I live in Tacoma, and this is HORRIBLE! The guy talking in this video is COMPLETELY misinformed! I don't need color correctness not to hit what's in front of me, I just need to see it, and these lights DO NOT HELP they HINDER! My night vision is blown up by these things, creating terrible dark spots where they don't illuminate. Furthermore, WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE EXPOSED TO BLUE LIGHT AT NIGHT! I haven't slept well since you came to my neighborhood, you ignorant bastards! These lights ain't good for me, and they certainly ain't good for all the people and animals living outside! It's already been shown these lights decrease the number of animals in an area. How much do you get paid to not know that? You're killing me slowly with these lights! ELIMINATE THE BLUE LIGHT SPECTRUM FROM THE LIGHTS!

The 4cyl 22-R motor was The best!! The late 90’s (95-96-97) V6 4-Runners were junk their motors Blew All the time!

I’ve always Driven Toyota! Had 2 different small 2 wheel drive Toyota Trucks 84/86, then had my Fav it was an 1989 Toyota 4x4 king cab Manuel Tran 22R motor. Had 300,000 miles an was still running when I sold it. Bought a 2007 off the show room floor also 4cyl 4x4 Manuel trans, king cab.. I drive a 2008 Toyota Corolla currently.. we need a new vehicle and all I’ve Read about is how bad the new Transmissions are! That Toyota knows this an refuses to go back to their older Trans! The CVT Trans Is Junk! All mechanics say so.. how can I trust buying something ice always stood behind in the past if they intentionally screw customers! I’ve read that Toyota was forced to do this because they had best rated vehicles for so long the Gov decided it was time for them to step down! Prob Not true.. but will not Buy another Toyota with these Transmissions! I have talked dozens of people into buying Toyota! Most Loved my trucks! The instrument panel is perfect! Everything was where it should be! Ease of driving no hunting for wipers, or seat controls, it’s perfect in every way! Comfort, tough, looks fabulous!! The best body was the 89- 4x4 small tough Truck with the 22R Motor!

I opened a healthy deli in 2000 and hillside quickie used to come around weekly and bring tofu and tempeh. We didn’t survive but I’m so glad you ladies did!

A tip to all for the overflow... 1.5 inch pvc sch. 40 pipe and elbows from local hardware stores. Get a Hayward pool inlet (Part#SP1023G) to go through the barrel. You will need a 2 1/4 in dia. hole saw. Hope this helps.

I used to eat here at least once a week with my husband and little baby boy about 11 years ago before moving out of state. Seeing the faces of these lovely women literally fill a void I've been feeling for years. They made us feel so welcome and loved. He visited about 5 years ago and brought me home several tempeh sandwiches that made it to utah and tasted just as I remember. This was my go-to pregnancy craving spot, my favorite family dinner spot, and will still be forever my most nostalgic place to eat. My son (who is now 12) and I plan to travel back to Tacoma just to eat at Quickie Too.
